5k Race and 3K Walk

Thank You to Our Sponsors

The HOPE for Youth 5K Cross Country Race and 3K non-competitive walk took place on the grounds of the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center (new course!) in Garrison NY. This was a fundraising event for HFYF and for a Memorial Scholarship in the name of Bill Sherry, a former teacher at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School and a race timer.

How We Started

The HOPE For Youth organization was founded in 1986 in order to raise money for local charitable organizations in the Hudson Valley. Sales of the foundation’s long-range weather forecast calendars have helped support ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children.

How We've Grown

The HOPE For Youth Foundation has managed to raise close to $3 million dollars for a variety of different charitable organizations and has established scholarship programs at the Peekskill, Hendrick Hudson, Panas, Putnam Valley and Lakeland High Schools.

Where We're Going

The HOPE For Youth Foundation hopes to continue its efforts to provide greater support for reputable charitable organizations throughout the Hudson Valley region.
